Yoga came to me at a time when my life was running ahead of me. Through yoga, I made space for change. I learned to listen to my breath, to move, sweat and release.

Today, as a mom of two young kids, life is totally crazy bananas! I’ve come to realize how essential my own self care is. It’s a necessity to show up for myself so that I can be there for those around me. Yoga is my way of making room.

It is a joy for me to teach people one on one. I love the personal attention I can give each individual I work with, adjusting your body so you can feel the proper alignment of each pose and can stretch more deeply. Whether that’s in person giving hands on adjustments, or in a private online session giving verbal cues, it is extraordinary seeing how the practice can transform!

OFFERINGS

Before our first session, I provide a complimentary consultation. We’ll discuss your fitness goals, specific areas you wish to focus on, and any past or present injuries you have. From the start, I’ll develop a personalized session plan to maximize our time together.

PRIVATE

One-on-one yoga provides comfort and convenience at a time when you’re probably not getting enough of either. I come to your door at the time we’ve scheduled, so there are no more excuses; it’s instant accountability. Each class is designed specifically for you and can morph and change depending on your wishes and goals. A session is 60 minutes start to finish. Virtual sessions are available.

SEMI-PRIVATE

Reap the benefits of a private session at a lower cost per person. Each class is tailored to the specific group, while allowing time for substantial one-on-one attention. It’s a great way to practice with friends, your partner, your family or even give as a gift. A semi-private class is 60 minutes and capped at 4 for maximum attention. Virtual sessions are available.

PRE/postNATAL

I love teaching expectant Mamas! Yoga was an integral part of both my pregnancies. While pregnant, my practice kept me grounded, allowing me to move while getting used to my ever-changing body. Once I had my daughters, yoga afforded me great relief while my body slowly healed and I regained my strength and endurance. Each trimester is so different. At any moment, the direction of a session can shift depending on how you (or your kicking baby) are feeling. It is a privilege for me to go on this journey with you. Virtual sessions are available.

CORPORATE

COMMON QUESTIONS

How often do you recommend clients to do private yoga?

That’s up to you! While I usually teach clients once or twice a week,  I also work with people on an as-needed basis.

What if I’ve never done yoga—can I still have a session with you?

Absolutely! I love teaching people at all levels of yoga. Regardless of whether you’ve done yoga for many years, or have no experience, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to enhance your practice.


What is your teaching style?

My approach to yoga is one of fun and accessibility.  We often will talk throughout the class, and music is usually played. I’m very detail oriented, giving you lots of adjustments along the way; Whether that’s hands- on adjustments in person, or verbal adjustments in a virtual session. It’s important to me that you to get a challenging workout, while moving through any energy blocks you may be carrying; leaving class feeling energized and refreshed for the remainder of your day.

How far along in my pregnancy can I take prenatal yoga?

You can safely practice yoga throughout your pregnancy as long as it feels right for you. Each class varies based on how far along you are, and how you’re feeling. Always consult your doctor to make sure she/he gives you the go-ahead to do physical activity.
