How often do you recommend clients to do private yoga?
That is totally up to you. While I often teach clients several times a week, I also work with people on an as-needed basis—whether it’s once every few weeks, or for a special occasion or pick-me-up session.
What if I’ve never done yoga—can I still have a session with you?
Absolutely! I love teaching people at all levels of yoga. Regardless of whether you’ve done yoga for many years, or have no experience, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to enhance your practice.
How far along in my pregnancy can I take pre natal yoga?
You can safely practice yoga throughout your pregnancy as long as it feels right for you. Each class varies based on how far along you are, and how you are feeling. Of course, you should always consult your doctor to make sure he/she gives you the go-ahead to do physical activity.
Do you recommend taking studio classes in addition to private sessions?
I think it’s wonderful to complement private yoga with studio classes. I find practicing in a studio is a completely different experience from private sessions—and there is something great about practicing with a room full of people all moving in unison. It’s an excellent way to begin to apply what we do together outside of our sessions, and then come back with specific areas to work on.
